In order to be able to broadcast successfully without any issues, you must ensure that your equipment meets the system requirements. Here are the system requirements that you need to keep in mind:
Internet Connection
Your Internet connection is one of the most important factors that determine the quality of your stream.
- Minimum of 5 Mbps upload speed
- Minimum of 10 Mbps download speed
- Maximum of 150 ms ping
It's also best to connect your laptop to the router via a cable rather than WiFi as this is generally more stable. Broadcasting from mobile 3G/4G/5G networks is not recommended as they are not stable.
Webcam
A good quality webcam is crucial to providing viewers with a clear and crisp image. The integrated camera on most laptops is not of good quality and can result in washed-out and blurry images.
