BBCode (Bulletin Board Code) is a simple way for you to apply text-formatting or "smilies" to your profile, emails and blogs. Not all tags are available in all areas.
If BBCode can be used in any area, you will see a link to 'Supports BBCode' next to that area.
Simply click on the 'Supports BBCode' link, and a pop-up will appear showing examples that can be used.
If you want to make some text bold, here's an example:
[b]type your text here[/b]
So you would type [b] before the text you wish to show as bold and [/b] at the end of the text, which should then return the text following that code back to normal.
Help with the Tabs BBCode
It is now possible to split your profile details into tabbed sections using the tab BBCode tag.
[tab=tab title]
Currently, due to design constraints, you can only have up to six tabs. Any tab tags after the sixth will be ignored and shown as is, in the last tabbed section. Each tab title/label cannot exceed 25 characters in length. You can enter longer titles, but only the first 25 characters will be displayed.
We are aware that on some browsers, and depending on the tab title, the tab widths may jump around when the mouse moves over them.
If the tabs don't switch when you click on them, or if they appear as a bulleted list, then hit Ctrl + R to force your browser to download the latest version of the linked supporting files.
Don't leave new lines between tab tags.
Do this:
[tab=About Me]
This is were the information about me goes.
[tab=My Services]
This is where the information about what I offer goes.
Instead of this:
[tab=About Me]
This is were the information about me goes.
[tab=My Services]This is where the information about what I offer goes.
If you're using tabs, then the first line in your profile details should be a tab tag. If you omit this, the system will create a tab for you and give it the title "1". Note how in the above example, the details start with [tab=About Me] before any other information.
The tab BBCode tag is only supported in the Profile Details Field.
