Verified Offering Members can ask to join a Group directly from the Group's profile.
To send a request:
- Go to the Group's profile and click Join Group.
- Read the Group Manager Terms, which are displayed upon clicking Join Group, and tick the box to confirm you've read them. A link to the AdultWork Terms-of-Service Agreement is also on that page.
- Write a message to the Group Manager. It must be between 5 and 300 characters.
- Click Send request and confirm that you want to send your request.
You'll then see a message confirming your request has been sent.
What happens next
The Group Manager will accept or reject your request, and you'll get an email telling you their decision. If they accept, you're added to the Group straight away, and the email includes a link to your Group Home page.
Good to know
- You can only have one pending request at a time. If you send a request to a different Group, your earlier request is cancelled.
- If you already have a pending request with a Group, you can't send that Group another one until the Group Manager has responded.
- If you're already in a Group, you can't send a request. You'll need to leave your current Group first. See How do I leave a Group.
