What is Direct Messenger?
Direct Messenger is the new Messaging service on AdultWork.com allowing Seeking Services members to contact and have a messaging chat with an Offering Services members.
How do I know if I have unread Messages
All interfaces of AdultWork.com will have indicators that will alert you of your unread messages.
How do I know if someone is online on messenger?
A green indicator will show when a member is online on messenger. If they are not online you will see when they were last online (eg. Online 2 hours ago)
How do I block someone?
Your Blocked Senders list will apply to Messages. So anyone you’ve blocked from emails will also not be able to send you messages. In case you want to block someone you are having a conversation with you can do that from the three dots menu of the Messenger conversation view. Newly blocked members will be added to your Blocked Senders list.
How do I set my Price Per Message?
Under the setting knob of the Messenger view you will see an “Set Price Per Message” option. Clicking that will allow you to set your price per message. This price will be applied to all your conversations. Also note there is a minimum and maximum price you can set in the range of 0.2 – 2 credits per message.
What is the Facility Fee of this service?
A 15% Facility Fee will be debited from each payment you receive from each message. This fee is used to cover costs of the service.
How do increase my chances of getting contacted via a message?
The more you spend time checking your messages and appearing active on messenger the better the chances are of you being contacted by someone new looking to have a conversation with. So make sure you keep checking your messages and be active on the messenger interface.
I don’t want to receive Messages. How do I disable it for my profile?
If for whatever reason you decide that you do not want to receive messages you are free to disable them via your Profile Monetisation settings. Just switch on the toggle there to disable it and you will not receive any new messages any more.
