We do have systems in place to detect fake profiles and timewasters and are doing everything we can to combat them. Many non-genuine profiles are removed each day off the back of our moderation and reports from other members.
There are several things you can do to ensure that you are only dealing with genuine service providers:
- Order your search results by rating and then view the ratings and feedback left by other members.
- Be as specific with your search criteria as possible. You can use the Rates & Availability Search and the Proximity Search, genuine advertisers are more likely to have taken the time to fill out their availability, and other details, than non-genuine ones.
- Make use of the features, such as Available Today, Featured, Receives Bookings by SMS, and Member of the Day. These members are paying to be listed in these categories and are more likely to suggest they are genuine.
- When searching, tick the box to include members with a verification photo. So that service seekers can be more confident about the authenticity of service providers, it is now possible for service providers to upload a verification picture. Service seekers can then choose to search for providers that have done so.
- Post your requirements via the Reverse Bookings page. There is no merit in non-genuine advertisers bidding to meet your needs.
- When searching, be sure to select the service you are interested in. We remove profiles from certain services if we think they are suspicious or not offering the services in question. Be sure to check the services offered at the top of the profile, if the only service shown is "Erotic Content Provider" this means that the provider only provides content, such as Private Gallery and Movies, no other services.
- If you wish to exclude members that offer a particular service, e.g. "bareback", then tick that box in the Dislike column.
- The system will automatically set any provider to Erotic Content only if they do not log in within 60 days (with the exception of Groups).
- Is their feedback hidden? Why would this be? It is better to know who the people with negative feedback are, so you can avoid them, rather than encourage them to re-register to start their ratings afresh. Having alleged feedback in their main profile text does not necessarily mean it's genuine.
- Look at their last login date. Are they active on the site?
- When contacting someone regarding a Webcam session, if they ask you to pay them upfront, outside of the site, then ask yourself, how would you get a refund if things go wrong?
If you believe a member to be non-genuine or in breach of our Terms-of-Service Agreement, there is an "Authentic Member?" link at the bottom of each profile page that allows you to report suspicious profiles to us.
